Our website https://languageinspired.com (“Website”) is mainly intended to inform you on services offered by the Language Inspired as well as to offer making some service purchase online. We strive to offer you not only the best service by our experts but also great and pleasant online experience when visiting our Website.
Our primary goals in collecting information are:

  • to provide you online translation, localization and other services;
  • to communicate with you regarding our services and your orders;
  • to provide and improve our Website, products, services, features and content, and
  • to administer your use of the Website and to enable users to enjoy and easily navigate the Website.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy.

Categories of processed personal data

The visitor of our Website may contact us as well as to order our services (incl. online). By filling any of the contact forms or online order form your entered personal data is used to communicated with you (incl. via e-mail), provide the services (incl. online) and / or to conclude and fulfil the Terms of Service. Other basis of the processing of your personal data is our legitimate interest to protect our rights in case of a dispute as well as to fulfil the requirements of the law regarding record keeping for the business activities.

Transfer of information to third parties
We process the personal data mainly within the European Economic Area (EEA).Your data may be transmitted also to the countries outside EEA. In such case we will apply appropriate safeguards that may include use of the standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission in relations with the data recipient.

Your data is processed by Language Inspired and our contractors who ensure services required for our business such as servers, IT solutions, accountancy, online translation service orders, communication, e-mail services, banking and similar.

We are entitled to transfer your personal data and third party’s personal data provided by you to the following data recipients:

  • any person related to direct execution of our contractual duties towards our you including communication providers, payment service providers, credit institutions, IT service providers, marketing specialists etc.;
  • outsource service providers involved in our service provision (as far as the personal information is essential for fulfilment of the assigned functions);
  • forwarding a claim to the third party including the person providing a debt collection services form our customer (debt collectors, lawyers, attorneys-at-law, judicial officers, insolvency administrators etc.);
  • legal, accountancy or audit service providers of Language Inspired providing that the said persons do not disclose the personal information;
  • during legal due diligence and during the transfer / sell of Language Inspired as a company or its shares;
  • other situations provided by the law.

In all data transfer request cases we evaluate the request to the commercially reasonable extent incl. we assess whether the reason given for the disclosure of the personal data is justified, the amount of data requested is proportionate and whether the correct channels have been used to request the data. We will not transfer your data without such an examination.

By assigning some functions to the data processors, we commit ourselves to guarantee proper technical and organizational security measures to ensure compliance with the security standards not less than we use within Language Inspired.

Where and how we store your information

The data obtained from you we transfer and store in the location within EEA. All information provided by you is securely stored in our or our partners’ servers. This information is encrypted.

However, the information transfer via internet is never completely secure. Even if we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot fully guarantee the security of your data sent to us, therefore the risks related with the data transfer via internet should be borne by you. When the information is received by us, we use procedures and security measures to prevent unauthorised access.

Within Language Inspired the access to your information is allowed only to the employees having motivated business-related reason to access or to know this information.


Information storage duration    
All visitor-related information including communication with Language Inspired is saved as a proof of the service request, conclusion and fulfilment of the Terms of Service. The information is saved until the Terms of Service are fulfilled, the data are not necessary for rendering of our services, retention period set by the law has expired or the term for the claims and objections from our your side has expired.
For accountancy needs we store our customers’ personal data at least 5 years from the conclusion of the contract. 
Communication data are stored from one month to three years depending on whether the particular data contain any essential information for fulfilment of the Terms of Service or rendering of the services (e.g. the customer files a complaint regarding the quality of our the services).
The Commercial Law of Latvia provides that the claims regarding commercial deals can be filed within three years after the conclusion of the contract. However, according to the Law on Consumer Protection Law of Latvia the claims against quality of the service may be filed within two years from the receipt of the service. Therefore, the personal information related to the services are stored at least 3 years from the conclusion of the Terms of Service but in any case, not less than 2 years after the rendering of the services.


Your rights in relation to the personal information
Generally, you are entitled to access, manage and control your personal data processed by us. We reply to data-related requests as soon as possible but in any case, not later than within a month from the receipt of the request. This term can be prolonged if the request is complicated or cannot be observed due to the extraordinary number of requests or other justified reasons. In this case we shall inform you regarding the prolonged term.

If you would like to use your above-mentioned rights in relation to the personal data, in order to verify your identity, the request shall be submitted:

  • by sending a digitally signed request to e-mail address , or
  • in presence in our office at 11-3 Kuģu street, Riga, Latvia.

Request may be submitted also by an authorized representative if a valid power of attorney is duly presented.
We reserve rights to request an additional identification information or apply addition measures in order to verify the identity of the requesting person and to protect the personal data from disclosure to the third parties.

You may access your data free of charge. However, if the request is considered excessive or malicious, we reserve rights to claim a reasonable fee or to refuse to reply to the request in essence.

You are entitled to receive information on your data that is being processed by us, to have a copy of the data, to transfer the data as well as to request to correct or to delete the data. Please note that the personal data deletion is possible only if:

  • the purpose of the data processing is reached;
  • personal data are no longer necessary in relation with the purposes they were collected or processed;
  • personal data were processed based of your consent and you recall the consent;
  • data were processed illegally;
  • data shall be deleted to obey certain legal duty.

Should you have any concerns or complaints regarding your data procession within Language Inspired, you are always welcome to apply to us and we will do our best to provide you an explanation and / or a solution.
